Korean Speakers Needed for Census Project- Great Pay!!
The overall responsibility of the Korean Speaking Representative is to conduct inbound and outbound Coverage Follow-Ups with qualified Census respondents.
POSITION SUMMARY
Conduct highly-scripted interviews
Follow required scriptsverbatim
Capture response data accurately within the Coverage Follow-Up Desktop Application
Overcome refusals, resistance or objections to completing the interview as appropriate
Document additional notes and information within Coverage Follow-Up Desktop Application, as appropriate
Arrange for Respondent callbacks
Shift between inbound and outbound call handling, as directed
Maintain high service quality assurance standards
Adhere to assigned schedules
Attend coaching sessions with Call Center Supervisor
Attend ongoing training, as required
Attend and participate in team meetings
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to ensure accuracy and completeness and documentation in Coverage Follow-up
Ability to independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
Maintain courtesy and professionalism
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all respondents data and responses
Adhere to strict requirements of Title 13 as outlined in the training that will be provided
Adhere to strict work schedules
Proficiency with multiple software applications
Ability to multi-task
Demonstrate keen sense of observation and ability to articulate Respondent benefits for completing the census
Excellent oral and written communication
Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
Previous call center experience
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of general office, Internet and Word Processing software
Mandatory: Must be a United States citizen or a foreign national with a minimum of two (2) years US residency. US Department of Commerce background check will be required
Language Skill: Ability to read and understand operating procedures and training materials. Ability to document results of interviews within the Coverage Follow-up solution
OTHER:
Ability to read, translate and speak foreign language, as assigned: Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Russian.
Work in an office environment
Varied shifts; weekend and holiday work schedules
Manual dexterity and motor coordination ability
Eye coordination ability
